The 23rd President of the U.S. was Benjamin Harrison, the grandson of former president William Henry Harrison, making him the only president to be the grandson of another president. His legislation was responsible for the McKinley Tariff and the Sherman Antitrust Act as well as for federal spending to reached one billion dollars annually for the first time. He was born on August 20, 1833 in North Bend, Ohio and died on March 13, 1901.
